Aircom TM is a self-contained, battery-powered communications device capable of collating data from various instruments. It has been designed to withstand harsh environments and transmit data from the asset to any command centre globally.

It’s creator, Westwood Technical from Newcastle under Lyme specialise in control and instrumentation and provides a wide range of services to the Energy & Utilities, Automation and Automotive industries.

Aircom TM was the first product that they were looking to design, develop and commercialise themselves and they contacted the BIC for support through their New Product Development Grant.
