Since its inception in 1995 the Staffordshire BIC has worked on a very practical basis helping individuals and companies develop new innovations and set up new businesses.

As a not for profit organization it constantly seeks new avenues of funding to help local businesses. Most recently the BIC has been working on the Advantage Proof of Concept fund and having spent time helping the companies to apply for the funds and representing them at a funding panel have managed to secure nearly £800,000 worth of new product development grants for local businesses over the last eighteen months.

This brings total funding secured over the last 15 years to nearly £3m.
