Impact Through Innovation
This award will be given to a business which demonstrates the greatest impact or potential impact for a product or service it has developed in association with a West Midlands University.

Achievement in Innovation
This award will be given to a business which demonstrates the greatest potential for a product or service it has developed in association with an West Midlands University, where the product or service has been prototyped and is market ready.

Entrepreneurial Spirit
This award will be given to a business or an individual who can demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit. They will challenge conventions, make things happen - fast, and display true creativity.

Knowledge Transfer Champion
This Award will go to an individual who has demonstrated consistently creative solutions, and whose cumulative efforts represent an outstanding contribution to their particular field of endeavour.

 Ministerial Visit - 5th March 2009

BIC-News The RT Hon John Healey MP visited the BIC’s Headquarters at the
Staffordshire Technology Park in Stafford on the 5th March 2009.

John Healey is the Minister for Communities and Local Government
and he visited the BIC on the invitation of Staffordshire County Council.

 Event held at the Chatterley Whitfield Enterprise Centre

BIC-EventsOn the 8th December 2008 the BIC held an event to celebrate what European ERDF Funding has done for the BIC’s clients.

The event consisted of displays showing new products which had been developed with the support of ERDF funds, and also international speakers giving talks on future European Funds and possibilities to work with companies in Poland.
